We will be in Rome for 3 days, the last being May 1. We plan on using the metro, trams and buses for most of our travel in the city. I received a response to an earlier post I made that noted buses may not run for several hours the afternoon of May 1. Is there an internet site that describes public transportation operations on this holiday?

Buses observe a long lunch break from 1 to 430pm on that day.
Metro and taxi operate normally.
I don’t know where you are staying but Rome is very walkable. I hardly use any transportation other than my feet. Occasionally I might take a taxi if I’m tired. The metro doesn’t really serve many spots tourists are interested in.
