pub Crawl tour in Venice with Alessandro Schezzini

Has anyone taken the pub crawl with Alessandro Schezzini Recommended by Rick Steves? I can figure out how to make a reservation. There is only an Italian phone number. Alessandro's Classic Venice Bars Tour

If you type this in the search above you will find many, many comments on his tours. Yes they are incredible, fun and well worth the money. Email was a successful way to contact him, for me.

We took Alessandro's tour in September, 2016. It was so much fun! I found an email address and he answered right away with instructions on when and where to meet the tour. Be sure to give yourself plenty of time to find the meeting spot; Venice streets can be confusing. I believe the email is in RS Italy guide book or on Alessandro`so website. Have fun.

We had a wonderful time with Alessandro! We contacted him by email: alessandro@schezzini.it. He was fun, informative, and we met some really lovely people.. it's best if you have several possible dates available as he gathers a small group together. Have fun!

We're taking both of his tours May 20 and definitely looking forward to it. He responded to my emails within a day with lots of information on where to meet, etc. Seems like it ought to be a lot of fun, as many have reported.

I've written to Mr. Schezzini twice trying to book this tour, but have yet to receive a response.

We did take the tour last month, as planned. Alessandro was quite delightful and we drank far too much wine. After arriving in Venice, I needed to contact him about a slight change in our plans. He again responded via email (alessandro@schezzini.it) promptly.

We took the pub tour this past may. We had no trouble getting a response. The tour was so much fun. There were younger couples than us. We all had a good time. After the tour we continued on.

I just noticed these comments, so thought I would chime in as we just took a Venice wine tour with Alessandro last week and had a fabulous time. I had signed up for the tour several months ago but knew the tour hinged upon getting at least 8 people signed up for the tour. Alessandro kept me updated via email and let me know several weeks before our trip that enough people were signed up. In all, 14 people signed up and we all met Alessandro in front of the San Giacoma church near the Rialto. Yes, we could have saved 80 euro by bar hopping ourselves but that wouldnt have been nearly as much fun as this tour was! First of all it was fun meeting other travelers and learning where they were from, etc. Secondly, we would have missed hearing all of Alessandro's stories and comments about wine and lots of other things! He was so friendly and funny, and had some interesting insights into Italian life, and life in general. We went to 3 bars, sampling different local wines at each. At the first one, the proprietor brought in heaping plates of food - fried calamari, meat and olive balls, fried potato balls - at the next bar we got excellent bruschetti , and at the third we got still another snack. Even my husband, who is not a particularly social guy, loved the tour! Worth every penny.
