Pub crawl

Hey, I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good pub crawl while in Rome. I googled it and found 2, but was wondering if anyone had any other ideas. I'm not so much into it but my sister is with me and she's a lot younger and very interested in it

Thanx

They have outlawed pub crawls in Rome. You won't be able to find an organized one.

Wow, I didn't realize that about the pub crawls but that is probably a good idea. If you were looking for the social aspect of the pub crawl, there are many bars in Campo di Fiori that cater to young, English speaking tourists where you can meet a lot of people in a friendly environment. There is also a "yelp" Italy where you could do some research before you go.

If you're thinking of a happy hour/apperitivo hour, such as you also find in Milan or Torino, you can see some suggestions at http://www.romeing.it/rome-nightlife-guide-bars-for-aperitivo/ and http://www.eatingitalyfoodtours.com/blog/aperitivo-in-rome/. However, strolling on your own around the Campo di Fiori or along any of the recommended walking paths in Rick's Rome and Italy books will yield plenty of opportunities to stop for a drink, sandwich, or gelato.
