My husband and I have been fully vaccinated for 6 months and it looks like we are about to become eligible for a booster in the coming days. Our flight from JFK to FCO is the first week of Nov. We were concerned that getting a booster within 14 days of travel might reset our "fully vaccinated" status and cause confusion with the airline, so I just had an online chat with a Delta rep who confirmed that it is permissible to get a booster within 14 days of travel on Delta ... you'll still be considered fully vaccinated. Just FYI!
