Protests in Rome

Does anyone know what the situation in Rome is with the protests that are occurring before the upcoming elections?

It’s mostly Antifascists beating up the police and destroying the cities because the police doesn’t allow them to beat up the Fascists holding their election rallies.

As the Italian playwright Ennio Flaiano (author of the play: La Dolce Vita) used to say:

There are two categories of fascists: the Fascists and the Antifascists”

If you mean The rally, it was yesterday and there are no others scheduled for the next week.

Mr Flaiano lived under fascism without saying a world for 20 years, as a journalist he did not write a line about the Racial laws against the italian jews and arrived at the end of WWII with a full belly and unscathed. Of course his opinions on the antifascits matter, who would ignore such a brave voice who started being so brave only when the dictatorship was over?

As you may be able to tell, this is something about which many Italians feel passionately. I was in Ravenna in 2015 and witnessed a fascist rally and counterprotestors. Give them all a wide berth and you'll be fine.
