Are jeans, shorts and khaki pants with zip out bottoms worn by men in Italy while walking streets?
That's what my husband normally wears. My italian cousins are dressed the same when we visit.
Yes, but also while sitting, driving and eating.
RON: Funny!!! 20,000 comedians out of work and your trying to get a laugh!
Yeah, sorry. Couldn't resist.
To me it depends on where in Italy. Shorts on Italians tend to be limited to mountains, seashore, countryside. Americans wear them everywhere, but be aware you may be restricted from entering some sites unless knees (and shoulders) are covered. I see German tourists (men) in capris in Rome in the summer and they look ridiculous. Capris look great on women and are common, BTW.
Khakis with zip off bottoms should be outlawed everywhere. Jeans are the norm, linen pants popular in the heat.
Good Girl Laurel!!! Perfect advice!
I think it would look totally ridiculous. Choose on at a time lol
sorry. Couldn't resist.
Capris are very popular for men in Europe. I have spent time in Spain where you see them all the time. Personally, I like the look, though I'm not sure it would translate to the US. It's certainly better than the huge baggy "shorts" that young guys wear here.
I think pants with zip out bottoms would be scandalous. Zip off legs I could understand. But zip off bottoms? Sounds unhygienic. (^_^)
I'm surprised no one reminded jj to take a man purse and a few pairs of tight pants. You'll blend right in with those! :)
