We are traveling to Rome for our wedding/moon and would like to hire a photographer for the occassion. Does anyone have any recommendations for a photographer? I see plenty of wedding photographers on-line but I'm not sure how to go about checking references for these companies. Our budget is tight so I want to make sure we aren't overpaying for the service. Grazie.

I had a fantastic photographer, but I don't know if it would work for you because he did the photos and then we had to go back and choose them, and it took a few months to get them back. I would be happy to recommend him though if you are interested. We paid around 1000 euros 6 years ago (back when the euro was a 1.14). I have no idea how much he costs now, but he was excellent.
