We are returning to the US from Italy on 4April. I've seen lots of posts about the Abbott Binax Now RX proctored test as a great convenient test. Has anyone had experience using the City Health "Rapid Return" test to return from Europe? It is endorsed by Southwest Air but we are flying on United. good thing is this test is small (in a sealed plastic baggie) and has a backup test included. much less bulky than big Binax box. Got two packs from a cousin who used them successfully with a proctored telehealth visit to return from Canada last year. Grazie!
Did you check with your airline?
Are you returning to Canada or US?
returning to the US. United doesnt mention specific proctored tests, just that antigen 24hrs ahead is acceptable and what the covid test certificate must include. Southwest Airlines endorses...guess I may need to call United

Yes.
SW doesn't fly to/from Europe.
It's quite easy to just get a test in Italy, before your flight home. We're bringing self tests, but will probably just pop into a pharmacy day before we fly home. 22 euros or so.
We used the Binax tests for coming ho e from Italy last October. I don’t know how much stalker the CityHealth baggies are, but the Binax boxes were pretty slim, much thinner than a paperback book, so we’re easy to slip into a suitcase and carry throughout Italy until the evening before we were ready to fly home.
We brought a third, spare Binax kit, in case something happened to one of our first two test kits, although the extra test kit wasn’t needed. As the CityHealth automatically comes with a backup test, that sounds like a good thing, just in case.
