Processing time after landing in Rome (FCO)

Once I land in Rome (FCO) from flight from U.S., how long will it take before I leave the airport (no checked bags)? I will be heading to Termini Train Station from the airport, so maybe another question would be - how long will it take from the time my flight lands to the time arrive at the Termini Train Station?

I've not flown internationally before.

I would plan two hours at least and maybe three. It is just waiting in line and moving. It will depend a bit on the number of planes in at the same time but an hour should cover it. A few minutes walk to the airport train station. Buy your ticket at the Tobacco shop across from the ticket window if a long line at the ticket window. Maybe a 15/20 minute wait for the next train if unlucky.l Thirty minute ride to Termini. Another ten minute walk to the front of the station. If everything clicks, under two hours. Hit some delays, could be closed to three. Or somewhere inbetween.

It also depends on the time of day your flight arrives. I arrived just before 7am on a Sunday one time (no checked luggage) and was at Termini before 7:45am. I got lucky in that there were no lines at passport, nothing at customs, and I timed the train fairly well. I think you can do it in an hour if everything goes your way, 2 would be average, and 3 if you have bad luck.
