Problem with uffizi.com

I tried to book an October reservation directly with Uffizi website. It took tries on 3 computers to get the "seating chart" to download, and then it wouldn't recognize my password (even when I had it assign a new password, which I copied directly from their e-mail and pasted in). Reentered website and tried again with no luck. So I went to uffizi.com. Even though I selected a reservation at 13:00, it booked me for 11:30, which I can't make. Someone else watched me, so I know I didn't mess up the time. On their website, I can't find any way to e-mail or phone uffizi.com to contact them about this problem. There are plenty of tickets available, so that's not the problem. So I have two questions: 1. Has anyone found any way to communicate with uffizi.com about this type of problem? An e-mail or phone? Otherwise, I guess it's a donation to this unreliable website. 2. I'm going to have to rebook and am not sure how to do it. Can anyone recommend a reliable vendor's website? Or a way to make the uffizi's own booking system work?

1. Sorry, can't help you here.
2. I recently booked tickets for the Uffizi and the Accademia via http://www.firenzemusei.it. Its the city's official site and only charges 4 euro booking fee. RS describes this website as "troublesome and not user-friendly" and he's correct. Persevere and you'll be successful. Have a great trip.

Galen, thanks. But that official website is the one I started on. After multiple tries, I finally booked the ticket, but it wouldn't recognize my login/password, even when I copied my login and the new password directly from their email that sent the reset password... pasting them into their form. Typing that info didn't work either. So if anyone has any other suggestions, they'd be welcomed!

Any other suggestions for getting this error by uffizi.com fixed? I just got a message from uffizi.com saying they won't do anything to fix this error. There is no doubt that I booked under the part of the website that says '13:00 or later' and requested a 13:00 reservation, but they booked me at 11:30. And the Uffizi website shows plenty of tickets at 13:00, but their booking engine wouldn't sell me one.

Sherry,
I just tried again now and starting from firenzemusei.it it took me to https://webshop.b-ticket.com which is where the ticket was bought and the name that shows on my online credit card statement. Sorry that it isn't working out for you. In his Italy guidebook RS suggests some other options for advance reservations (pages 473-474, 2013 edition). Good luck.

You are right that there is next to zero information on the website you used, and no contact information. I did notice that the FAQs say that if you request a time that they can put you in a different time as needed (by them). I guess this is a problem of using a third party middleman rather than the official site. Sorry it has been hard for you.
