Problem with printing a ticket bought through Italiarail

I just bought a ticket through the ItaliaRail website for Naples to Rome on April 22. Everything was amazingly easy. The confirmation arrived in my email. When I went to print the train details, including the PNR number (and it clearly states I should show this to the conductor when requested), it comes up as a four page document, but the second page, where the PNR number should be, prints as a blank. The first page and pages 3 and 4 (unimportant information on pages 3 and 4) print fine.

Also there doesn't seem to be a way to download it onto my phone, although I prefer a printed page, as I have fears of not being able to find the ticket when necessary as I may not be able to get an internet connection, etc.
I have emailed ItaliaRail, but does anyone have any suggestions?

I wrote the above and posted it but am now editing it. A second email arrived that was identical to the first one but had the line "click here to print your tickets". Done! I have the ticket. I don't know if the second email was sent because I emailed ItaliaRail or whether that is just the way it works and I should have waited ten minutes.

As far as saving it, I downloaded it on my iPhone and saved it my Notes section. Any other ideas for saving it?

Could you save it as a PDF and email it to yourself? It also might print properly as a PDF. (Might!)

It's not uncommon when booking tickets to receive two emails. One with the details of the purchase and one with the actual ticket. But I don't know if that is the way Italiarail operate. A suggestion for the future though is to avoid 3rd party booking sites and always buy the tickets from the actual company that operate the train.

Are you travelling with Trenitalia or Italotreno? The former does not request customers to print the PNR out, people either read the code or display it on their devices. I Don't know how it works on Italotreno.

If you booked with Trenitalia, You could write the pnr on a piece of paper (together with car and seat numbers) and "save it" in your wallet.

Badger kind of beat me to it, but Italiarail is not the rail company, they are a third party seller of train tickets. They boast of 24/7 customer service, I guess I would call and test them on it. If you have a ticket number or confirmation for Trenitalia, or possibly Italo, then you may be able to download the applicable app from the rail company and see if you can pull up a ticket.

Actually, if you're able to display the PNR code on your smart phone that should suffice. Just have it ready to show the guards at the checkpoint in order to access the train platform and on the train itself if the checker comes thru the compartment - he'll have a device to read the PNR directly off your phone.

In case of no internet connection: just take screenshots of every single ticket, and important docs, then they will be saved in your photo gallery on your device.
You just need to make sure you have a good charge on your battery.

Thank you SJ. That's exactly what I need to do and can't explain why I haven't thought of that myself.
