I just tried and got a red “oops” and the same thing—- “ you may not reply”.

Sasha, same here. After attempting to submit a reply, the message I get is, “Oops! There are problems with your reply.” in red, followed by, “You may not post to this forum.” in black.

I’ve reported this to the Webmaster; hopefully the situation can be rectified, if it’s not intentional for some reason. Thanks for catching this.

I would email AND PM the Webmaster. Since it's Saturday, they don't typically monitor the forum but he does respond to emails and PMs on the weekend occasionally. His email is [email protected].

FWIW, I just reported the train-strike post to draw it to the staff's attention. Keep in mind that reporting a post is not just about reporting spam, but also to draw the tech staff's attention to it if there is a problem. It's also easier for them to fix it if you report it as they have an immediate link.

ETA: TexasTravelMom's idea is good. I would PM the OP of the train strike thread with your response. That might get to them faster than getting this issue fixed.

Turn off your VPN and then it will post. At least that has been my experience here.

I tried from here and didn't have the vpn on - no joy

That happened to me a while back and was just some sort of glitch. You can ask the moderators and they do get back.

Hey all! I just fixed this issue. You should be able to reply to Suzanne's post now!

Yea, Marta! Just wondering, did you take action based on my (and others’) reporting of Sasha’s post in this current thread, or to my/our reporting of the initial post about next week’s train strike to which Sasha was trying to respond?

Maybe there can’t be too many Reports, if there’s an issue to address.
