We are a family of 9 and need transportation from Roma downtown to Civitavecchia to go on our first Cruise. Any suggestions? Would prefer a mini bus or any vehicle that fits 9, 7 adults and 2 children ages 5 and 8.

We've used a car service in Rome a number of times and have always been pleased. They do shuttles to the cruise port but I'm not sure of the cost. Just email them with your needs and you should get a quote within twenty four hours. The name of the company is Rome Cabs, but it is definitely a car service despite the name. Just google them to find their web site and email.
