My daughter and I had a private tour of Pompeii yesterday. Our tour guide was Ciro Manfredi. I had the pleasure of meeting his father Gaetano 12 years ago while on a Rick Steves tour. Maria, thank you for this feedback! I tried to book with Gaetano, and he was unavailable, so we are going with Ciro (in July). While I had no doubts he would be excellent, it is good to hear from someone with firsthand experience. :)
