I learned about this tour from another review online. Gaetano Manfredi, grandson, son, and third generation of private guides to Pompeii gave this AP European and World History teacher a fantastic journey through Pompeii. I traveled with youths, middle aged, and seniors in my family. Gaetano’s knowledge and ability to maneuver through any other groups/individuals was superb. He knew everyone working there. And we even had a chance meeting with the director of Pompeii! I learned so much, and I had taught on this subject for many years! Everything went smoothly. Communication up to the tour was outstanding. Our trip to Mount Vesuvius.. awesome! I can honestly attest that this was one of the best days in a retired history teacher’s life!

I would echo this completely. We had a tour led today by Gaetano and it was outstanding. He is so experienced and knowledgeable, we never waited a moment for any line, he arranged our driver from Positano, and everything clicked! We would recommend him without hesitation to anyone.
