Can anyone suggest a private tour guide for one day in Rome. Have 6 travelers and want guide to show us the sights and get tickets and make arrangements.
We're planning on Sunday, July 10. Is Sunday a bad day for seeing things?
Thx!
I did several tours with The Roman Guy and really liked them. They offer private tours, also, but they are pricey:

I've also used "Tours by Locals" in other countries in the past. https://www.toursbylocals.com/Rome-Tours
I would recommend instead of a big operation using one of the guides RS recommends in guide book. I learned that lesson the hard way!

Yes, if you want to see the Vatican Museums/Sistine Chapel. They are closed most Sundays of a month, and will be closed on July 10th.
It would help if, other than Vatican Museums, you have an idea of which other "sights" you wish to see? Also, what are the ages of the 6 people in your group? Any mobility issues or young children to be aware of? I'm also curious why you only have 1 day in Rome? Are you staying at least 2 nights in the city?
I know I've seen it before but now that I'm planning my next trip, I cannot find the mention of RS private guides. Am planning on adding about 2-3 weeks extension to my Fall Italy trip and looking to include guide in Rome and possibly Assisi. Thanks for assist! Lisa
