We are looking for a private guide during our stay in Florence in April. The Walking Tours of Italy look great but when I add up the cost for the four of our tickets we thought for the same price we could probably hire a private guide.
Your personal recommendations are appreciated.

A friend and I used Laura Berti of Florence for You for a full-day tour that combined Medici sites, a food tasting at Mercato Centrale, and artisan workshops. She is a native of Florence and an excellent guide. Her company charges 60 euro per hour with a 2-hour minimum.
