Hello, We plan to take a day trip from Rome to Assisi. Our group includes my husband’s parents who are in their 70’s. They are in great health and have no trouble walking, but I am trying to make this day trip as easy as possible. I am considering hiring a private driver to take us on this day trip. I see that Rick recommends Miles and Miles Private Tours on page 33 of his Rome book and I have contacted them with questions, but have not heard back from them. Are there any other private tour companies that you would recommend to take us on this day trip from Rome to Assisi? There are SO MANY on the internet, that I hate to just close my eyes and pick one. I appreciate any information or advice.
