Private one on one tour guides in Italy recommendation?

Has anyone taken private or very small group (8 people or less) tours in Cinque Terra, Assisi, Rome, or Florence. We don't care for large group or bus type tours. We are mobile and in good health.
So if anyone who has used a copmany, website, or can recommend someone who does private day tours in Italy, that would be fantastic?
When we went to Japan there were tour guides which we booked oline, and were able to customize our tour. He met us at the train station for our tour. Then spent the day showing us around Tokyo. It was such a wonderful experience, and affordable, that i thought to ask if theres such people who are tour guides in Italy that anyone has used and can recommend. Thanks so much. Aloha, Kathy

You can check Tours by Roberto. He does small group (8 passenger van) or private tours. He is a buddy of Rick Steves and appears in several videos of Rick's. www.toursbyroberto.com. His website has a calendar where you can check what's planned, but he also works with people for private tours. His English is great because he lived in the US for a while and his wife is American. He lives south of Siena, but does tours all over. He is listed in Rick's books under Tuscany.

You might check the RS Italy guidebook, as there are reliable guides listed there for various areas.

For Rome, I can recommend Marta Marsili. She was our private tour guide for the Colosseum and Forum, as well as the Vatican Museum/St Peters back in 2016.

We are using her again for our June trip this year.

She did a great job and we loved our tours!
