In Rome we spent 3 hours with Francesca Caruso and it was fantastic - can't recommed her enough. She gave us great insight into Ancient Rome - not just facts and figures, but helped us put all that we were seeing into a human context.

In Florence we spent an afternoon with Tanya from Florentia walking tours and enjoyed every minute. She gave us an overview of the city,and guided us on how to view the art we would be seeing with a keener eye and understanding. The time spent with each of them truely was a highlight of our trip and helped us come away with a much deeper appreciation for what we encountered. They tailor the time togther based on what you are looking for and your level of exisitng knowledge.
It was easy to set up via email and they were both very responsive and helpful in planning the time.
I highly recommend them both.
