Private driver for Amalfi Coast tour - recs?

Hi everyone,

I would like to hire a private driver for an 8 hour Amalfi Coast tour from Sorrento. Is there a forum favorite driver? Does anyone have a company or driver they recommend?
What stops do you recommend adding in the Amalfi Coast area?
If you've done this tour and have tips or drivers to recommend, I'd love to hear them! Thanks!!

*I know that this can be DIY'd, but I'm interested in the private driver tour for a lot of reasons. (plus we'll have our 2.5 year old with us)

When? I ask because the towns are so crowded from April thru mid-Oct.
For shared tours, RS recommends Mondo tours.
We used Aldo Limos, and highly recommend them.
However, if I did it again. (We were in the AC May, 2023,) I would do a boat tour of the AC coast. The towns were too crowded to enjoy, and for the driving tour , you spend as much time in the car as out of the car, and it's more like nine hours. Not sure how a toddler would deal with that, and maybe even car sickness on the curvey roads. The beauty of the towns is best enjoyed from the water. Ravello was beautiful, up in the hills, but Positano and Amalfi town were shoulder-shoulder packed. Positano is all steps.
The area is congested and there is no fast nor efficient mode to get around. The infrastructure has been sadly neglected, and the area is a victim of its Instagram success. However, Instagram doesn't photograph the crazy crowds.
Having said that, if you plan knowing the realities on the ground, you can have a wonderful trip in this beautiful area.
Safe travels!

Here's another vote for Aldo Limos. We've used them a few times and have been happy. Their office is very responsive to requests via email.

thank you! I have emailed them and waiting to hear back.
Another question - would it be faster to take a private car from naples to rome fco airport or train from naples to rome then rome to fco? It's very tempting to just take the private car for convenience but I'm not sure if traffic will be awful and the train is much faster. OR if there is a large potential for train strikes/late trains.

Are you trying to leave the AC to Rome for a flight on that same day?
If so not advisable
What time is your flight out of Rome?

Naples to Rome airport involves a train change in Termini. We used Aldo Limos from sorrento to Rome airport, it was about 3.5 hours. Once you are out of the Sorrento congestion, you finally get on a regular highway to Rome airport.

Christina in the Aldo Limos office is a Brit, so email communication in English was very easy. She offered us a package deal with our AC coastline drive, including our pick up at Naples train station, and she also accepted USD, at a fair exchange rate, which was a huge convenience. And - we received a written receipt . Their office is right off the Sorrento main square.

Have a great trip!

Our big Sorrento hotel, the Ambasciatori, had a land partner agency that provided cars and drivers, charged to our room bill. We used it for a day on the AC, and for back to the Naples train station. The drivers were perfectly nice, but are not certified guides. You can't specify the driver, they rotate.

You cannot make a three-hour International check-in at FCO for a before-4PM flight from Sorrento. How much will a new, walk-up price, air ticket cost you if you miss the flight?

Thanks everyone! I’ve sent emails to the companies you mentioned.

Our flight isn’t until 6:55PM, so I was thinking we would take a 1:30 train Naples to Rome termini to Rome fco.
