I am in Orte now and need a recommendation for a touring company or English speaking driver for a day tour. I arrived by train and do not have a car. Please help as always.

perhaps ask the landlord/manager of your lodging for a suggestion?

Or ask at cafe. Very friendly town. We go there often. Otherwise go into the old part of town. Train station is in new area. Vasanello is quite close and has a nice centro. We usually have car or family picks us up.

Thank you for your suggestions but I just want you to know that this has been a blessing in disguise. There happens to be a contrada this weekend and although I have met only 3 people who speak English this has become a great experience. I am so glad that I learned some basic Italian. I am the only English speaking tourist in town and most locals have been very friendly. I am getting a taste both literally and figuratively of Italian life in a small town. Of course now I am posting a new topic on Spoleto. Thank you again. Don't give up on me. I only have Spoleto left and then I will spend more time helping others.
