Private custom full-day tours around the Veneto

As part of an upcoming trip to Venice and the Veneto, we're looking to book 2 full-day custom tours for the three of us. They will be for the destinations outside of the major cities. I'm hoping people out there can recommend specific individuals or companies that you know can be trusted to craft a custom plan and provide a high-quality guide fluent in English. Any suggestions appreciated! Thanks,
-- Ethan

The Veneto is a big region. Where do you want to go?

Ethan, I just sent you the contact information for the private guide we use in Italy. Let me know if you do not receive it.

Hi Doug -- I have a goodly list of places that I'd like to visit, and I'm hoping that part of the guide's service will be to help us figure out how to choose amongst them to maximize our two tours. I should clarify what I meant by "major cities". I meant within the region. So we'll want to see Padova, Vicenza, and Verona, on our own. (And Venice, of course). We're interested in a guide (in part) to help string together those locations which are made easier with a car. Areas of interest include Lago di Garda, the hilltowns to the north, maybe some villas around Vicenza that are hard to reach, Soave, etc.

We loved both Padova and Verona! I would also try a squeeze in Cremona, if possible. A lovely little city with a beautiful doumo and piazza!

With 4 nights in Venice, and 1 full day each in Padua, Verona, and probably Vicenza, I'd rather fill in the extra couple of days with small towns or countryside. Get some variety, and all.

I'm sort of confused, just a quick question to help clarify, please. How long are you going to be staying in Venice? You mentioned four nights, do those four nights in Venice include the days you want to explore the Veneto? thanks

The 4 nights in Venice do not include the time in the Veneto. We will have 9 nights. The first 4 will be in Venice proper. We will then spend five nights in Padua and/or Vicenza and/or Verona. We will (on our own) visit those 3 towns during those five nights. We'd like to have two of the post-Venice days for full day touring of the Veneto, not including those three towns.
