Private Chef in Rome

We'd like to hire someone to cook dinner for us one night in Rome. We are a group of six traveling to Rome in May and are staying in an Airbnb in the Monti neighborhood. We thought it might be fun to have someone come in to cook dinner for us one night while we were there. Has anyone done this? Any recommendations?

I’m looking for a part time cook that can do breakfast and prep snacks/lunches daily, I can’t find the place to look through can you tell me how to find the above?

@amicore - it would be best to start your own thread with your question so people can answer you directly. If you do so though, please include location, special food needs and dates - did you also mean in Rome and when do you need such services? Do you need gluten-free foods for example?

However, my unsolicited advice is that this will be a challenging ask. Italians don’t eat a cooked breakfast, just coffee and a croissant or a handful of cookies. They also are not big on between-meal snacks, and lunch may be a sandwich or pizza square in the go, available every ten steps in Rome. So for a cook, this is a pretty low-value proposition and you’re not likely to get any takers. A private chef will want to do a fancier meal to showcase their talents and make a decent return. If in fact you’re talking about Rome, I’d meet these needs with cafes and bakeries, or sit-down restaurant lunches.
