Private Cab/Car Transfer from Rome FCO

Can anyone recommend a reliable, reasonably priced (around 50euros) private cab / car service from Rome's FCO airport to the city center? I've tried Rome Cabs and Rome Chauffer, but unfortunately both are fully booked for my arrival date.

Thanks!

The fixed price for a taxi is 48E. Why not walk out the door, find the starter, and take a cab? That way you do not have to worry about finding your driver if your plane is late.

The companies I've worked with are always waiting for you outside of customs/immigration. Even when the plane is late they are there. This is why they ask for your flight information. They monitor the flights in order to be there at the appropriate time.

A taxi is a good alternative if you can't find an agency with availability. Be sure to get one from the rank and confirm with him the 48 euros fixed price before getting inside.

I used the official city cabs twice and no issues either time. Flat rate 48 euro each time.

This past May we used romashuttle.com, several times, highly recommended by roninrome.com. The cost is 45 euro and the driver meets you outside of the frosted customs doors. Easy, easy...

I also recommend just taking a regular taxi. You join the quick queue at the taxi stand, and costs 48 euros and make sure you see the rate and "SPQR" on the taxi (making it the official city taxis).
