Pristine Sistine - Monday or Thursday?

Because we arrive in Rome (from Sorrento) on a Sunday afternoon (mid-October) and we know many sites are closed on Monday (thanks RS and forum), we are trying to make some scheduling decisions. We are staying in an apartment between the Forum and the Temple of Vesta.
We plan on getting the three day Roma Pass for the Forum/Colosseum, National Gallery, etc., which means using three consecutive days. If we do the Forum/Colosseum on Monday, that means we will probably wait until Thursday to do the Vatican. Alternatively, we could do the Vatican (Pristine Sistine) on Monday and do the Roma Pass things the next three days. Is there any advantage/disadvantage to one over the other?

My only advice is to get in line an hour before the doors open - otherwise the line will be enormous.

I can't speak to the Roma Pass because we didn't use that, but we did do the Pristine Sistine on a Monday. Our guide (Uta),knew how to navigate the museums so that we almost always had the galleries to ourselves. I was amazed because there were other early groups there, as well. The Sistine Chapel had others viewing at the same time, but nothing like the crowds when we circled back during the regular hours.

With this tour you won't need to worry about the lines, you bypass any that are there. It won't make any difference which day you choose because this tour takes place before the museums open to the general public.

Thanks all. Looks like I can just flip a coin and book it, planning to just do the other things on the other days.
