So we were successful in booking 2 seperate high speed train trips for September on Trenitalia website. Now for what may seem like a silly question...do we need to print out all this information and present it at the ticket office at the train stations in return for an actual ticket or are the printouts from the computer our actual tickets?? Thanks again
Kathy
Use the printouts as your ticket, but make sure that they have the reference number on them. Sometimes you might think you have the ticket, but it's actually just a receipt. Read it closely.
The reference number Michael refers to is the PNR code and is stated as such on the printout . Usually there is an attachment sent with the email confirmation . The PNR is the critical component ( as well as the train, coach and seat numbers ) .
