Prepaid Ticket Entrances at Colliseum

Hello,

I just purchased 4 full entrance fee tickets at !2 Euro to the Colliseum/Palatine HIll/Forum directly via CoopCulture even though daughter is 17 and could have gotten her entrance for free with only a $2 booking charge. I chose to purchase her ticket at full price because we were advised that doing it this way would allow us the convenience of not waiting in any lines at all and also starting the tour at the Forum Entrance. Well it looks as though I made a mistake in the booking process and instead of selecting "the print at home option" I instead chose the "pick up at ticket office"option so my efforts at saving time in lines and starting at the Forum Entrance were all in vein and now I have to pick up the tickets anyway. I called the number and they said there is no way to fix the reservation to allow to print up from home and also no way to refund the charge to allow me to start the transaction over or at least refund my daughters ticket.

My question here is does anyone know if you can pick up prepaid tickets at an entrance closer to the Forum so we can start the day from there making our way towards the Colliseum?

You can still go into the reserved ticket line at the Forum, which should cut down on time, especially if you are there early in the morning. I don’t think the Forum gets quite the same lines as the Colosseum does. I imagine you can pick them up at the Forum entrance on Via dei Fori Imperiali. I can’t see any reason why you can’t, considering the open ticket (which is what I’m assuming you have) covers the Forum/Hill/Colosseum together.

I too have to pick up tickets. The system didn’t even give me the print at home option. So my mom and I are getting to the Colosseum (our ticket is for an 8:30 entry) fairly early to get in line.
