Pre cruise Venice hotel

Can anyone recommend a hotel in Venice with easy access to the cruise port? Trying to stay under $200 a night if possible. TIA

The cruise port is accessible easily from the Piazzale Roma via the people mover. Look for a hotel near the Piazzale (which is a cheap bus ride from the airport) or just across the canal near the main train station. This is where the lower priced hotels are located.
