Power adapters Greece, Italy and Dubai

Can I get a power adapter that will suit all three countries or do I need separate ones. We are travelling from Australia to Athens,Santorini then Rome, Amalfi, Florence, Lake Como, Venice then Dubai on the way home. I did read somewhere that I will need are different from Greece but also the Southern and Northern Italy are different.

For the usual traveller's appliances (phone chargers and the like), there is no practical difference between Greece (C/F) and Italy (C/L) plugs. An adaptor to continental European round-pin "C" plug will suffice. The weird "L" Italian plugs with 3 holes in a line are only an issue for earthed appliances such as large computer chargers, hairdryers...

Of course, the Rick Steves adapters won't do much good for Australian appliances. I imagine the correct adapters are easy to find there, though.

LIZ-- Just a minor detail :-) Duh

OP needs to have 'Peter'(?) from Australia provide help. I recall his commentary about visits to Venice, so he has figured it out.

But whatever works in Italy will work in Greece. Dubai will need a different type.

I have been as far north in Italy as Castelrotto and south to Sorrento. All the same.

james,

Your situation with Plug Adaptors will be slightly different than most of us that live in North America. It's not hard to find an Adaptor to fit various European outlets, but the main issue will be using Adaptors that accept the somewhat unique Australian plugs. I'd suggest packing along at least a couple of the round pin European adaptors and a couple of the UK adaptors - https://www.bagworld.com.au/shop/listings/travel-adaptor-plugs/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIhNLC2O-A4gIViuNkCh3-zA8jEAAYAiAAEgLHAfD_BwE .

At least you won't have to be concerned with checking the Input Voltage of the appliances you'll be using. I'm assuming most of the appliances you'll be travelling with are two-pin (no ground).
