POSTIANO AT NIGHT

2 couples will be renting an apartment in Positano in early May for a week. Any suggestions for romantic meals and great music and dancing. Also, is the Le Sirenuse open to the public for drinks on the terrace in early evening.

Hello and although my post has nothing whatsoever to do with romantic meals and great music, might I just say that the Amalfi Coast at night is BEYOND breathtaking. By all means, find yourself a terrace and sit and enjoy the remarkable view. We actually went through Positano at night while on a bus, and traffic was at a complete standstill, so I had the chance to soak it all in. Between the sea, the dark sky and stars, the fireworks, the tiny lights from the ship and the humble locals fishing over the cliffs, I felt like a little kid looking into a kaleidoscope (ever see that Visa commercial? - and "Tuesday Afternoon" was playing on my mP3 player!!!).
Sorry for that but I say "Positano at Night" and had to stand on my soapbox :-)

My two favorite meals in Positano..... pizza at lo guarracino (we walked) and dinner at da Costantino (they picked us up) as it is located up high on the mountain and limited parking. The food, the people, the views were amazing!

Il Ritrovo Ristorante is also a great place for dinner. It is located up in Montepertuso and they will send a van for you. I also agrre that Da Constantino is very good as well. Da Vicenzo in Positano is very good. Be careful down by the seaside. They try to get you to let them "bring what is cooked" and you have a 200 Euro dinner!
