We are on the RS Sicily tour Nov 5-15th and then have a week before flying to Cairo to catch a river cruise. Any ideas on what to do with that week probably in Southern Italy? We have already spent time on the Amalfi Coast and Tuscany, but never explored the southern tip. Thanks so much!
Do you already have a flight to Cairo? From where?
Ditto--it helps to work backward by identifying places to fly from, then choosing among them.
But Sicily is a large island, and it should be easy to add five days there, so that would be my first impulse.
Perhaps Malta if you don't mind the two transits?
We followed up from RS Sicily with 11 days in Puglia (including 6 days by e-bike) and 6 days in Campania (Cilento coast + Naples.) Just returned less than a week ago.

(Don't think I'd recommend riding a bike in November, though.)
