4 senior travelers. We will each have 1 large suitcase and a carry on. What do you suggest as the best means of travel from the cruise port to Venice?

We did this on Celebrity last year. They provided transportation. This may be because our original stop was Venice and had to be moved.

We will be traveling on Celebrity in May 2024, but the cruise port is located in Ravenna. I will check with Celebrity to ask if they provide transportation to Venice. Thanks.

If you have substantial travel maybe it's best to rely on the transportation provided by the cruise company.
A cheaper alternative is to take a taxi to Ravenna central train station, then take a train to Venice (with a change required in Ferrara or Bologna). It's a cheaper alternative but it requires that you carry your own luggage aboard the trains and place it on the overhead hold, or the larger hold at the end of each train car.

I'm not sure the trains are running yet. All the rail lines into Ravenna were blocked recently due to the flooding in Emila Romagna. Cruise-provided transportation may be your least expensive option--the other being a private transfer that might be more costly than usual if road detours are still required.

The OP's trip is in 2024. Hopefully the region won't see another flood next year!
That said, if Celebrity offers transport, that's probably the way to go if you have sizable baggage.
