Possible to buy Roma Pass online ??

Does anyone know of a way to purchase the Roma Pass online prior to our arrival in Rome? I understand it's necessary to make reservations for some of the more popular attractions. For example, Bourghese Museum. The Roma Pass seems to be a good deal for us, since we'll be in Rome for a week.

Thanks for any help!

I never found a way to order online before we went to Italy last summer. We were able to purchase the passes at our hotel, which was very convenient-we got them right when we checked in. We did make advanced reservations for the Borghese, but you don't have to pay until you arrive at the museum. So even though you have reservations, you can still use your Roma Pass when you arrive.

Thanks, Kathy. Where did you go online to make the reservations for the Bourghese? I see a lot of websites out there advertising for tickets.

I've also considered purchasing the Roma Pass, but have held off, wondering if there is a more economical way to do this. My Grandson and I will be in Rome for 8 days, 21 March to 30 March, which includes Good Friday, Holy Saturday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday. I'm afraid many of the sites we want to see will be closed on some of those days. We have tickets for the Easter Sunday Mass at St. Peter's, and the Papal Audience on 26 March. I've emailed Scavi for reservations to the Vatican Museum and Vatican Gardens, and don't know when or if they will schedule us. We also plan on going to Florence by train, probably Thursday, 27 March or Friday, 28 March. The Roma Pass has to be used in 3 consecutive days, which may not be possible for us.

Help!! Do any of you seasoned travelers have suggestions/recommendations for museum and Metro/bus passes for us? Unfortunately, Americans don't qualify for the student and senior rates.

Thanks a lot for any help you can offer...
