My husband and I are starting our two week vacation to Italy in Positano. We will be there for probably 4 nights. Reasonable hotel suggestions? We are fine with places outside of Positano, Almafi town, etc.

We haven't been in 4 years, but LOVED the Hotel California. RS recommended it and it was delightful.

Lindsay, You might have a look at Hotel Savoie in Positano. The rooms are very comfortable, the staff are great and it's in a convenient location and easy walking distance to the shops, restaurants, boat docks, etc. Happy travels!

You don't say what "reasonable" is, but the Hotel Pupetto is on its own beach a short five minute walk along the sea from the base of Positano. Great rooms with balconies overlooking the water and a good restaurant.
