We were thinking of taking the SITA bus tour to Positano, then a ferry back to Sorrento. Would you recommend going further than Positano? I want terrific views, but am not so interested in touristy shopping. Also, is the Blue Grotto worth going to see in Capri? What are the most interesting things to see in Sorrento and Positano? What a lot of people do if they are doing Positano and Amalfi in one day is go through to Amalfi in the morning and work their way back. One of the reasons is that it can be be easier to get a seat, or even get, on a bus back from Amalfi to Positano at midday/early afternoon. The 24 hour bus ticket also entitles you to a free one way ride on the open-top sightseeing bus from Amalfi to Ravello. Ruth, have you considered going to Amalfi and, from there, changing buses to go to Ravello. It is a beautiful place with wonderful views and gardens to tour. It is our favorite place on the Amalfi Coast area.
