Going to be Positano with a car looking for possible free parking with hotel has anyone stayed at Ancora Hotel.

Can't tell you anything about the hotel but suggest you send them an e-mail about parking in Positano. Don't remember seeing any parking garages but that doesn't mean there aren't any there. Most of the town is only for pedestrian, no cars allowed at all. The only moving vehicles we saw from the bus stop in the center of town going down to the beach, main section of town were golf carts, just so you are aware.

Have stayed at the Hotel Pupetto in Positano a few times and they had some parking spots available. Since the hotel is on Fornillo beach you must go up an elevator to reach the parking area. Don't recall if it was free.

Chris, As you leave the coast road and travel up the switchbacks there are several parking garages. Check with your hotel to see which one of them would be closest to their hotel. If you are using a garmin, be prepared at some point for it to tell you to drive off the cliff. It's picking up the road above you. Quite funny! Have a good time,

The Hotel California has a parking garage beneath it for guests. There was a cost for parking,but I don't remember. Check their web site.
