We want to spend 1 night in Positano in Oct 2019. Any good hotel recommendations close to the walkways to the beach? Would like to keep our rate under $200. Thanks

We loved Hotel California which is right across the street from Le Sirenuse. We were minutes from the beach and steps from the Sponda bus stop which we used each day. Our deck had beautiful views.
We were exploring other B&B's but did not find one this close to the bus stop and the beach.

You might have a look at Hotel Savoia - http://www.savoiapositano.it/en/index.php . I found the room to be clean and comfortable, and it's in a very convenient location.
