I have heard that there is currently no ferry service to/from Positano because the pier is under construction. Has anyone been to Positano recently that might have information on when ferry service is expected to resume? I'll be traveling around Amalfi in September. Thanks!

Now, I'm unsure what the work is that's being done but this dock was unstable enough that it was occasionally closed in very stormy weather. Unless they're trying to fix the issue versus, say, repair some damage, that possibility could still exist. But you're unlikely to make the trip in foul weather anyway, right?

The TravelMar Ferry (which we use) from Salerno to Positano allows me to make a reservation using tomorrow's date.

Someone else posted here (a few days ago) that the Positano dock was open, but with very limited service, and significant waiting time. But I can't find that post right away.
I personally would not assume that any travel provider, including TravelMar (especially in Southern Italy, but anywhere) updates their website often enough for daily correct information. But I am not in Italy right now.
