Hello.
We are thinking of going to Portofino on Thanksgiving. Does anyone know how is the weather there at that time? What about Nice and Monaco?
Also, is it better to fly into Genoa airport for Portofino or start with Nice? What airport is better to fly into/out of from Nice?
Thanks in advance!
Thanksgiving Day in Canada is mid-October; in the US it is late November.
Care to be a bit more specific?
Clarification: November 22nd through December 1st.
hey hey lina
are you on a multi-city flight, into one city out of another? fly into genoa from where?
how many days are you staying in nice, monaco and portofino are you using public transportation and how many people?
is nov 22 your arrival and dec 1 your departure days?
that time of year has everybody guessing and not knowing, rainy & windy or mother nature may have some sunshine for you. do some research to make sure shops and restaurants are open and their hours . have fun and enjoy
aloha
I would avoid Portofino at that time of year as it's very small and both tourist- and weather-dependant. We were in coastal Liguria and Nice in mid-November 2018. Nice was excellent and very lively. The Ligurian resorts were deserted, especially as there was a terrific, damaging coastal storm in late October.
