Portofino Hotels

Does anyone have any suggestions for Hotels "a la Rick" in Portofino? Regrettably I'm going to stay in mid July but, circumstances dictated that.

I'm not sure there are any hotels "al la Rick" in Portofino as it's a somewhat posh destination for the rich & famous. Some of the tourists there bring their own yacht and moor in the harbour.

You may find Portofino somewhat on the "boring" side, as there's not much to do.

If you are driving, at the next inlet over at Paraggi beach I saw one affordable place, the Hotel Argentina but didn't stay there due to weather and beach conditions in October. Further south at Rapallo, I enjoyed my stay at Residence Il Convento. Rick's actual listings are all in Santa Margherita, with doubles mostly around €150/night.
