Hike in the surrounding national park--I could have done without the town entirely.

Loved the photography opportunities from Castello Brown; the views are amazing. The castle itself is also nice to walk around but we mainly went for the views & to take pictures.

We went there from Santa Margherita for a late afternoon and evening (by public bus). Strolled around, hiked up to the church, took pictures of the HUGE yachts in the marina. We then parked ourselves at an outdoor cafe for a couple of hours and watched the tender boats come in bearing guests from yachts too big to park in the Portofino marina. It's a pretty town but glad we did not stay there.
