Have one day in port. Can we hire a taxi to go to Lecce when we get off ship? What else is there to do at this stop on our cruise?
We already saw the Trulli houses on a previous visit to the area.

Trains between Brindisi and Lecce take half an hour each way, with two trains per hour around morning and evening commuting times (otherwise about one per hour), and cost about $5 each way in 2nd class.
