Hi- we are planning a trip to Rome in April and wanted to see if anyone could recommend a tour company to help arrange tickets and show us where to go. Have read tickets are free but was looking for help to get a good spot.
Thanks
Jeff

I could be wrong, but there is not assigned seating. You can acquire free tickets by contacting the Bishops’ Office for United States Visitors to the Vatican [email protected]
Jeff -
We are going to the Papal audience on March 26. We have purchased a "tour"
from Dark Rome which guarantees good seats. They have a guide and the
tour members have headphones so they can hear what the guide is saying.
It gets five star ratings from the people who have left reviews and the tour
company (which is changing its name to City Wonders) also gets good reviews
on Trip Advisor. Don't know if you want to wait until I get back on April 1 to
let you know how it was.

If you get within two weeks of you planned visit and still don't have tickets, you can also request them through the American Catholic Church in Rome at http://www.santasusanna.org/popeVatican/tickets.html. Free, but donations appreciated.
