I am planning a trip to Italy in May and am attempting to purchase Pompeii tickets in advance. So far, none of my credit cards work on the Viivaticket site. My banks assume the charges are fraudulent due to the "outdated site" (quote from a bank agent). I emailed them and their solution is to buy tickets in person. Has anyone else had luck / no luck with this? I'd rather not create a Google pay account or wait until I get there.

It's no problem buying tickets on the site, and you have flexibility in the event of bad weather,

Try using a different browser or Paypal ( if an option)
No matter as I doubt Pompeii ever sells out and waiting til there you have flexibility
We ended up at Pompeii on a nasty rainy day-couldn’t be helped as it rained 4 days in a row!
Good call on the different browser. Not sure why, but that worked. Good thing since I'll need to use VIvaticket to get Vesuvius tickets as well.
