We would like to visit Pompeii for a morning on our way back from the Amalfi Coast to Naples. Does anyone know if they have a luggage check service at Pompeii?

We did not use the luggage check, but it is often discussed here, and everyone says that is free and safe.

"Amalfi Coast" has a very flexible meaning here, alas. Just in case, if you are on the train from SALERNO instead of from SORRENTO (which, the latter, is NOT on the Amalfi Coast), the Salerno train stops almost a mile from the nearest entrance to Pompeii Scavi. That may require a taxi for your luggage.
The gritty Circumvesuviana train from Sorrento stops across the street from the Porta Marina entrance to the Scavi. (I'm not showing off my Italian, I'm saying Scavi because there is a huge modern town of Pompeii as well as the famous ancient city found beneath it.

Thank you. We will be in Nerano and probably take a taxi to Sorrento, then the train from Sorrento to Pompeii.
