Traveling to Italy in April (8-16) with a group (9) of us.
Looking to visit Pompeii for the day on Friday (April 10) - Can folks recommend a service - that would shuttle us (9) to Pompeii for the day & possibly offer a stop on the way back to a vineyard? Thanks in advance.

That's a very long day trip- not sure how /if a winery visit will also fit.
Walks of Italy does a Pompeii day trip from Rome with a visit to Amalfi coast. 13 hours.
We've done several Walks of Italy tours and all were excellent

To echo Christine, Pompeii from Rome involves about 6 hours of road time - 3 or more each way - so just getting there and back eats up considerable time sitting in a van. Add more van time if the tour includes Positano and/or Sorrento. You can do it faster by train(s) but, well, that's not what you're asking for. Still, you REALLY have to want to do this to spend that amount of time on the road. :O)
Just for kicks, I did dummy bookings for 9 on the Top Excursion website for a couple of Fridays in March (the April calendar isn't available yet) and came up with an est. of € 1,990, so quite a bit more than the "from € 1,100" shown but more in line with the Walks of Italy tour price. Still, the T.E. option could probably allow you to customize with a winery stop and drop the Positano/Sorrento piece if desired.
Also add €144 for 9 adult entry Pompeii tickets to the Top Excursion price, and est. pp lunch prices to both tours.
