I read several people paid for a private tour guide once they got to Pompeii, rather then booking a tour
Could someone who been to Pompeii recently, let me know how much they paid for a guide?
We are interested in a 2-3 hour guided tour of Pompeii.
If you buy Admission tickets for skip the line when you get there how much are they?

I do not recall a 'skip the line' entry at Pompeii. Its been several years, but I think there were no more than 4-5 people ahead of us. Its not like entry to the Uffizi, or some other museum.
Check out the free RS audio tour. I used it and did not feel like I missed anything
I realize I did not directly answer the questions you posed, but thought offering an alternative, might be helpful. Use it as you choose.

It's not necessary to buy tickets ahead. Rick's Italy book (pages 993-4) indicates that guides whom you meet at the front gate charge about 110 euros for 2 hours. He also suggests reserving the small-group tour operated at 11:00 by MondoGuide for 15 euros per person, not including site entry.
