Is it possible to safely store luggage at the Pompeii ruins while we visit the various sites within the ruins?

Hi Denise,
Yes, there is a storage area that is free, right at the ruins. There is someone at the desk and it seems secure. We used it and were happy. If I am remembering correctly, we were given a claim check also. Have a great trip. Pompeii is amazing! Ruth

i recall the train station also has a luggage storage. used it back in 2003.

The train station in Naples may have luggage storage but there is no luggage storage in the station for Pompeii. The train station at the ruins is hardly more than wide platform. Use the storage described by Ruth.

We safely stored our luggage at the Pompeii site, there was left luggage right at the entrance to the ruins. The Pompeii stop on the train is just a platform, there was no left luggage there.
