Can you tell me what size electric adapter is required to convert US electric plug to italy? Any recommendations?

Welcome to the forum jimcat908. Be sure whatever you are plugging in is dual voltage or the adapter will be useless. Most modern electronics are fine but you do need to confirm, they'll say something like 110/220 or 110-240 on the device.

These are the lightest weight, least bulky & inexpensive solution:

Note: if you’re wanting to bring anything that heats up - a curling iron, hair dryer, etc. you need a converter- a heavy block, and even those sometimes don’t work well. If you just use the adapter plug, it will fry your appliance.

I use something like ekscrunchy except mine has 3 type c ports. I have a phone, watch and iPad to charge. I even take the adapter on domestic trips in case there aren’t enough outlets near the bed to charge all three devices at once.

I have (from Amazon) what Carrie posted above and also what ekscrunchy posted. The latter is a bit bulky but good for charging multiple devices.

I also have this multiple USB cord as some of my devices use different types of USB.

If anybody in your party uses CPAP machines, make sure you have also an extension cord as sometimes the only available outlet maybe far from the bed.
